Louis Wackett


I have been on my fitness journey for 18 years and counting. From the very first day I stepped foot in a gym I quickly realised I had found my sanctuary, my calling and my home. It is this sense of purpose and feeling of belonging that has driven me for all this time. 

Moving your body is so powerful I wanted the wider public to know that no matter what level of fitness you are currently at you can make a change and we are here to support you along the way.

That is why I wanted to open the gym, to help change lives for the better.

Gareth Hughes

Head Coach

Hello! My name is Gareth and I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer, and ex-Physical Training Instructor of 8 years, for the British Army.

I first became passionate for physical activities such as climbing, caving, and sailing in secondary school, before at the age of 16, I promptly joined my first gym. At this point I knew I wanted to steer my education towards sports and science.

In 2013 I completed a tour of Afghanistan, which upon my return lead me to complete my All Arms Physical Training course. This enabled me to manage and implement the fundamentals required to keep soldiers fit and healthy.

I now love utilising techniques I learnt during my time in the Army to influence my work within the civilian sector.

My current hobbies include boxing and weight training, and when possible, the consumption of Sunday roasts.

Jordan Phillips

Personal Trainer

With a background in boxing, football and athletics, I have been able to cover a large variety of training methods and techniques. My great love for these sports is what inspired me to become a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Being a perfectionist in regards to form, execution and planning allowed for a very easy transition from athlete to coach. Passing these techniques onto other people has become second nature.

I pay very close attention to detail with exercise form, concentrating on specific muscle groups whilst linking it closely with the physiological side of exercise. This process is how I get such great results for my clients, the results then enhance motivation and that feel good factor, that’s what I’m all about.

My overall purpose is not to just help people physically but to also be a supporting figure with improving habits and decision making. I believe these are the most important factors and it motivates me to help make positive changes in your life.
